Auto E-Brake?

Hello boys and girls. Just bought a 2021 CX9 Signature this week. I'm wondering if there's a way configure the parking brake to engage every time the vehicle is put into park. I just sold my 2020 Toyota Highlander and this was a feature that I loved. E-brake would engage when put into park and disengage when shifted to Drive.

Funny. The mazda 3 has that and some people were complaining about it. My 2018 doesn’t have that feature, but it does disengage automatically when in drive or reverse when you press the gas pedal.

I'm not quite sure why there would be pushback against something that only engages when you're in park and not moving anyway and disengages automatically when you shift into drive or reverse. But everyone has their reasons, I suppose.
