Yea, I originally didn't want the dealer to put the holes in the front bumper but I never got around to telling them. So instead I just have the screws threaded in.
I have never been pulled over about it. I had a few times where I thought I would have been because Cops like to use the license plate as a target for their speed guns. But they never came after me.
I was going to use the excuse that it was a new car and I didn't have it put on yet. Or I may use the trick that my uncle uses on his miata. He purposly broke the plate holder and keeps it in the trunk and uses that as an excuse.
My girlfriends parents never had a plate on the front of thier cars and have never been hassed either.
I want to find some type of plug and paint it blue to fill the holes.
