Maybe try to get lower and shoot at a flatter angle? Getting under those trees that overhang the creek would be nice.

or make the focus of the picture a little more specific.
 
this wasnt me (if look at the side view mirror you can see me in the white shirt. a couple of friends were playing with my 20D.

lyonsroar... how did you do all the lighting around the rim (photoshop?)

There's no photoshop magic done to that picture at all.

It was a 69 (giggity) second exposure in which I ran around the back of the wheel with a tiny flashlight and shined it around. Took 3 tries to get one that was decent.
