The wife went to leave for work this morning and the battery was dead. We've had the CX-9 for seven days now. I gave her the keys to my Speed 6 so I could charge the battery and call the dealership.
After sitting in the waiting room for an hour or so, I was told there was a drain somewhere in system First, they thought it was in the auto dim/back up camera mirror. When that didn't pan out, I was put in a Chrysler Aspen rental for the weekend. When I last saw the CX-9, parts of the dash were disassembled and the mechanic was tracing circuits. He doesn't work on weekends, so the best estimate for the repair is Monday.
I just hope they can fix it right the first time so I don't have to go back again. My wife is going to be less than pleased that her $33,000 vehicle is not available to her only a week after she bought it.
