Just replaced my original 1999 Mazda Miata factory alternator with a Palladium, the brand offered by Advance Auto Parts. I was far from home and had no choice. It seems to be working fine, but now I notice on "weak" AM radio stations, a definite alternator whine. Any way to get rid of this? I know for sure the original alt did not do this, it is definitely since I had the alternator replaced.
