alarm on the 2016?

Is there still an audible anti-theft alarm or engine immobilizer on the 2016 CX-5? I just got the new 2016 brochure and it doesn't mention an alarm system anywhere in it that I can see.

Really? You want a car alarm?
Over the so many years of car alarms, so many false alarms, it is just annoying.
'The boy who cried wolf'. The common reaction is to ignore such alarms or hope the car is stolen quickly to spare us the insufferable car alarm.

Immobilizer is standard on all models.

The alarm I believe it is still included on some models. Maybe only the GT? Aftermarket remote start guides reference wiring into the factory alarm to disable it during the remote start sequence. There is just no clear answer as to if the car has it or not. You can tell by rolling a window down, locking the car, then after 30 seconds manually open the door. The alarm only monitors the door triggers, there is no shock sensor, or proximity sensors.
