Guide 2017~2020 CX-5 Add an Amp Adapter

IMG_20231211_085347.jpg

I'm referring to the blue wire not connecting to anything circled in the picture. Does each blue wire coming from each white connector get soldered together and then branched off like a "Y" or is there only one blue wire coming off of one white connector? Sorry I'm a little special when it comes to understanding this. Haha. Thanks again

Blue wire shown is switch wire for amp - not required if you are running new wiring to your amps from fuse box etc - you can isolate the one shown as not required

To those who've successfully done this...

Note this is a 2021 CX5 with Bose.

I made the Scosche adapter, got an amp, sub, and a nice amp wiring kit. Ran the power (pita). Got to the point to install the diy adapter and my TAU doesn't have the style connector on it. There is another connector in the vicinity (big white connection on the right side) that looks similar, but I wasn't interested in guessing.

I was imagining plugging directly into the TAU, not a remote plug.

After scouring the internet, coming up empty handed, I gave up.

Can anyone confirm or show photos of their install?

------
Also after following the t harness guide to a 'T' I think the "blue wire" is the speed sensing wire, and the red is the accessory wire for remote turn on. Can anyone confirm?

I may just be overthinking this.... I'm almost wondering if they switched to optical connection in 2021+ between the TAU and the Bose amp (blue connector in photos).

I gave up and tapped signal from the Bose sub speaker connections. It's working great, with plenty of bass down to around 20hz at any volume.
