2007~2015 2013 CX-9 Touring P2A04

Hello,

My wife's having issues with her 2013 CX-9 Touring (75,000 miles) and I joined the forum hoping for help. I usually work on my older Honda, but leave her Mazda alone.
Yesterday the CEL came on while she was driving. This morning I connected my generic wifi connector and my laptop to see what was going on. The DTC was P2A04, downstream oxygen sensor range/performance.

She took it to the dealership (her choice) and was told she needed 2 oxygen sensors, a catalytic converter, and spark plugs. After recovering from their list of work they wanted to do she brought it back home to me in tears.

I'm not sure where to start on her vehicle, but I do have all the information my scan tool provided that goes with the DTC, but it saved as a .txt file and I don't see how to attach it here. Any help/ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
For the text file posting here open the file in one of the built in text editors that came with your computer (Notepad or the like), "select all" for the text and cut/paste it here. Once you do that perhaps the other folks here on the site can chime in.

Couple things:
1. It's probably just a bad O2 sensor.
2. If it really is a catalytic converter, those are warranted for 8 years/80,000miles by federal law (read this, jump to page 4: https://nepis.epa.gov/Exe/ZyPDF.cgi/P100NNQH.PDF?Dockey=P100NNQH.PDF)

In short, you went to a garbage dealer that is trying to defraud you.
