2008 Mazda3 P0753 Code Question

I have a 2008 Mazda 3
It’s random when this happens
Sometimes when I start driving it the AT light comes on and doesn’t go past 3rd gear
Sometimes drives normal and like am on the highway going 70 in 5th gear it jumps to 3rd gear. Then I stop turn the car off then turn it back on. Drives normal until it randomly wants to jump back to 3rd gear. Am not sure what to do? Need some advise. Thanks

These are the causes of the P0753 code
Causes

• Insufficient transmission fluid
• Dirty transmission fluid / filter
• Frayed wiring / damaged connectors
• Failing solenoid
• Failing transmission pump
• Internal pressure problems
• Valve body issue
• ECU or TCM failure

Check fluid level and condition, transmission fluid should be a red color if it is brown it needs to be changed, that might be all you need to do.

i have a 2006 Mazda 3, when I start driving it the AT light comes on and doesn’t go past 3rd gear, after checking the codes...i realize P0753 was the problem. i tried clearing the codes but still appears. my transmission oil is ok. so i tried changing the TCM just like everyone is doing on this platform but the code still appears. currently i have change the transmission and still the AT light appears with the same code P0753...any help dont know what to do again. am lost of option

No....but I changed the whole transmission

Says every year but the 06 needs tcm flashed to vin!!!
