2002 Mazda Protege5
Up for sale is my 2002 Mazda Protege5. It is Black, with an automatic transmission, 220k miles. Runs well but is showing some signs of age. My wife has owned it since 2005 and I believe she is the 2nd or 3rd owner.
The Good: Vehicle runs reliably as is but does have some minor cosmetic and mechanical flaws. This car has always been reliable and spent most of her years in California, so there is no rust. Exterior looks good, but certainly not perfect. Radiator is new.
The Bad: Check Engine Light is on. The car runs/idles a bit rough due and needs either a Throttle Position Sensor or a MAF sensor. I have cleaned the MAF sensor with the appropriate spray and this did not resolve the issue. Update: the transmission issue has been completely fixed.
The Ugly: Drivers seat does have a rip (see pictures); car runs/idles rough as mentioned above. Sunroof/Moonroof motor has stopped working; passenger side view mirror face is shattered.
$1600 OBO. Price is nearly $600 less than Kelly Blue Book for "Fair".
