Gotcha man, nothing wrong with form>function! I use to be setup the same way lol. 195/45s, dropped on its balls, throwing sparks etc etc. haha. Actually a little stretch is good! 225s on a x9 are slightly stretched, it makes the sidewall more stiff which is great while cornering. Sorry if my statment came off as sounding like all stretched tires are bad, because thats definitely not true, but excessive stretch(195 on a 9 for instance)...

An oversized tire hurts performance just as bad as a skinny/stretch tire does, x7 and 225 is a bad combo. Ideally you're suppose to run a x9 with 225s for the best possible performance value, so a whole two inches skinnier than that is gonna make for a ton of tire flex in the sidewall whille...

6ULs are timeless, but being from the miata community I find them boring because I see them so much so IF it were me, I'd do C3Ms first but it definitely sounds like you've got your heart set on 6ULs

They go over a harness bar mounted to what looks to be a half cage, cross each other and are mounted to the rear seat section intead of being ran through the seat and mounted straight to the floor. Nothing to kid about here.

Glad you at least have the proper setup for a harness. See too many noobs just mount them straight to the floor.

Yeah, miatas and any cheapish popular car are plagued by the noobs that do cookie cutter setups and show no originality. It is what it is. Also, fender flares are becoming extremely popular lol. I've been rocking mine for a year already so suck it >:P
