    Replacing battery in 2014 / 2015 Mazda3s

I don't know. At the very least, the drive would be terribly uncomfortable especially from people not used such rough idling.

    Replacing battery in 2014 / 2015 Mazda3s

I wish I was. From experience when a battery tender or OBDII memory/ECU setting saver were not used, the car had to re-learn the IDLE. In some cases, and it's not consistent, the power window and sunroof controls needed to be re-learned too. The latter are described in Mazda's tech manual, but...

    Where did everybody go?

That's really sad. Facebook is the worst for privacy and they're even cracking down on users not using their real names. Then of course, let's not get me started on that cesspool called, Reddit. No doubt trolling is largely allowed and/or condoned on both FB and Reddit. Btw, what does MOCC mean?

    Replacing battery in 2014 / 2015 Mazda3s

I guess you missed the part where I mentioned the issue was not preserving the battery, but the engine (ECU) needing to re-learn how when to shift. Had you experienced this, you would know how much of a nightmare this is and the premature wear on the components. Dealers do use a battery tender...

    Mazda Drive Experience?

I went for the Mazda experience. I was underwhelmed with the Mazdas for the most part especially the tech. The Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Smart Brake Support etc. failed. The wide display is fugly in a different way from the initial display in the 2014-2018s. HD traffic has also been removed if...

    Where did everybody go?

There doesn't seem much life left in these Mazda forums anymore. Even asking a basic question on replacing a Mazda battery gets zero replies. (shocked)

    Replacing battery in 2014 / 2015 Mazda3s

I have watched a few youtube videos and it appears some have struggled to remove the housing bracket for the battery. Nothing much was mentioned on using a battery tender or something like an AC battery charger or how to use to preserve your infotainment settings and preventing your ECU, PCM...

Any working links for complete Mazda TSB and manuals?

Seems like they're all dead including torrent links.

Options for adding an auxiliary input on the Mazda3

The now defunct company that made the Aux Mod worked for me, but the connections were very poor and the motherboard design was inferior. You may seriously consider scrapping the idea. Iirc, after 2006, an aux connection became standard in Mazda3s.

Carplay and Android Auto coming soon? Crossing fingers..........

Is that still happening? In the UK, diesel cars will be banned by 2040. Other parts of Europe are trying to ban them within the next 8 years. In Munich Germany, they are banning diesel cars. While 2040 seems a long way off, Europe has many passenger diesel vehicles. The same can't be said about...

Should my next new car be the Honda Civic Hatchback?

Are we comparing the 2.5 L vs the very popular 2.0 L? Mazda3 first generations were quite reliable from what I understand, much more so than Honda. While I do like the styling of the new Honda Civic, my gut tells me the reliability factor wouldn't be very high with the turbo. I too heard the...

Carplay and Android Auto coming soon? Crossing fingers..........

Bwahaha. Hope is the last to die. For your sake, I wish you don't get severe depression when the bubble you live in bursts. Just saying.

Should my next new car be the Honda Civic Hatchback?

Because CR recommended Subaru, that's enough for me to dismiss them, lol. As far as comparing the Civic with an iPhone, I disagree. The iPhone simply works and Apple has a warranty and service only second to Costco. Most recently, it was revealed that many loyal Android users (who can afford to)...

Should my next new car be the Honda Civic Hatchback?

If I was a teen, I might go for a turbo...but not any more. It's not only expensive to fix but, you can't legally drive fast in Vancouver these days any ways lol due to heavy traffic. Interesting comment though on the CVT. A tranny is very expensive to repair. Historically, I know Honda's AT sucked.

Should my next new car be the Honda Civic Hatchback?

I think you may have pissed away $170 and instead bought a Garmin with lifetime maps. Not only is Mazda Nav all but crap thanks to it's lack of updates as Mazda promised, but as I understand it, your product must be registered with the dealer, through Mazda; otherwise, you won't be able to...

Should my next new car be the Honda Civic Hatchback?

I actually don't mind the look of the new Civic. In fact, I prefer it over the Mazda3. The Mazda3 I believe is due for a major refresh within the next few years. I think the Honda lane watch monitoring sounds like a good idea. However, I haven't driven the Honda. If it takes premium gas (which...

Yeah, I heard that...the same person said President Trump is an alien from a galaxy outside this solar system. :) Another "reputable" click-bait site. Bwahaha.

Carplay and Android Auto coming soon? Crossing fingers..........

Dudes: time for a reality check C'mon guys. I want AA or ACP as much as anyone...in fact more. However, the select few who are holding on hoping Mazda will implement it are being nothing more than foolishly optimistic. As it was stated here and elsewhere, Mazda tends to be several generations...

Should my next new car be the Honda Civic Hatchback?

I agree with CR's rating if that's part of their methodology. Yes, there has not been any significant changes in the 14-16's Mazdas. In part, this is why I am looking elsewhere. Just today, I was at a Mazda dealership getting my Mazda service. Out of boredom, I sat in a 2017 GS sport model...

Should my next new car be the Honda Civic Hatchback?

Thanks guys. Interesting info that was shared on the infotainment that it's a major source of frustration among different auto makers. I thought Mazda had the worst, in part because JD Powers specifically mentioned it and because of the ugly console display which I am not a fan of myself. The...
