What have you done to your Miata today?

I lost a clip or two on my brake pads when I was installing my suspension, turns out the noise I was hearing is from that, according to a quick search on miata.net

If they're the ones at the front / back of the pads, then yeah, that'll make a bit of noise.

Picked up a windblocker which seems to work well on the highway. Still trying to find a decent location for the Dash Hawk. Anyone know of any pods or something to hold it.

turns out the rattling is my water pump dying. new one on the way.

That sucks. well at least you've got one on the way

I put all new clips on my pads but brakes still make that noise. Im out of ideas and patience.

I won a local car show yesterday

Not for the wifey...she wanted her TT lol.
It's ok though...she can wait a few months.

I did some ghetto paint work: sanded off some surface rust that had formed where the PO had run it into everything in sight and primed the spots to keep the rust off. Now I've just got to knock out a few dozen dents and I can do some rattle can touch-up work. It's kind of refreshing to have a race car with s*** paint that you really aren't that concerned with the appearance of.
