Anybody know anything on gettin a carbon fiber hood for the ride?? I think it'd look pretty sharp...but would it add any weight??? Just curious......

Also curious....is there a way to tell what number MP3 I have.....#??? of 1500.......It's killen me, I gotta know!

Supposedly Tripoint Engineering has Carbon fiber hoods for about $475 plus shipping. A cf hood should weigh less than the normal sheet metal hood...

Yeah, carbon fiber is as light as aluminum and as strong as steel, if not stronger. Imagine if you were rich enough to make a whole car outa carbon fiber hehe, it would weigh like 1000 pounds.
