which rims for 5 door ??

for performance, which size would be best? 16s or 17s? also, what brands have the best prices and light weight rims??
also, with rims, do you have to buy performance tires?

16s will generally be lighter than 17s, so if weight is a concern, stick with 16's, plus your tires will be a little cheaper.

As for lightweight wheels, SSR, Rota, Speedy, Volk are a few that offer lightweight wheels. Enkei and Konig also have some that are fairly light. The best rule of thumb is the find some that are about 1 pound per inch, so a 16 inch wheel should weigh about 16 pounds. Not always the case as some wheels are lighter than that. Most of your "standard" aftermarket wheels are closer to 20-25 pounds each.

Performance rubber is up to you and your driving habits. There are some great tires out there that will give you great all season performace and not be a "summer" tire.
