The 2.5RS has lot of aftermarket options already available for you to mod with, oppose to the Mazdaspeed that doesn't. Once you get your Mazdaspeed you have wait a bit for all the goodies to appear (MP3 STILL WAITING). Not to say the Mazdaspeed is no good, but it honestly isn't all that... in the same price range... the Mazdaspeed, unlike the MP3 back then, now has serious competition in the market. Mazdaspeed isn't the only one to be beefing up their suspension along with their horsepower.
I think hes refering to no headers yet. Also no turbo exhuastsBigBlue said:
Hmmm don't know what you mean by the MP3 still lacking in the aftermarket department...sure we might not be on the levels of a Civic, but there's tons of stuff....bodykits, turbo kits, full out coilovers, big brake kits, multiple intakes, pulleys, exhausts....not sure what you feel is missing? The same will go for the MazdaSpeed(I think even more companies/products will come down the pipeline now they see Mazda is serious about the performance market) and besides, I'd have to say from the factory there really won't be too much that needs to be done to the MSP.
Congrats on the purchase and just keep in mind that naturally we'll be just a little biased here on the Mazda site, but you are more than welcome to come by and let us know how things go!
