...engine in the upcoming Ford Focus SVT for 2004. Well, that really sucks. It looks like for us Mazda owners they just put a bandaid on the lack of power for the MP3. But for the Focus they really get to work :mad:

Also the Mitsubishi Lancer will have a 170hp 2.4L NA engine with a beefed up suspension on their OZ Rally edition.

P.S.- On the Road test results of MotorTrend they list:

Protege5 16.8/82.7 mph 1/4 mile e.t. Top speed:124 Slalom:66.4
MP3 16.8/82.3 mph 1/4 mile e.t. Top speed:132 Slalom:64.8

Just a thought... (yawn)

on those motor trend results: unless they were performed on the same day, you really can't compare the two. weather conditions and site can have a big effect on performance figures.

Hey Mac Daddy,

wasnt your car in a mgazine featured with another Protege5. If this is you, your car wagon is sweet. If I wasnt into performance so much I would just put bags on my MP3 with some 18 chrome or 19. But your wagon is badass, I know that thing will get you some pussy lol.

Thanks, but it was not mine. Unfortunatly we have the same rims; I'am working on getting different ones. Maybe if I had a MP3 then I would do some different mods.
