We're absolutely, positively sure that North American 3s CANNOT handle a 15 inch rim due to caliper size...... right???

Please correct me if I am wrong as it'll save me $267 !!!!! (help)

No they cannot, you are correct. 16" is the smallest you can go.

gotcha,..... After reading (the complete ) sticky, I see it's a diff. of rotor size (not caliper size) for 2.3 vs 2.0. That would seem to xplain my confusion.

As long as your wife's car is a 3i, then you'll/she'll be fine.
