I went to install my sub the other day and ran into a snag. I was going to run speaker wire from my rear speakeys to the ALOC but when I went to run the wires from the door into the pillar I noticed that a harness takes up pretty much the whole space provided. Did you guys have to drill holes or is there another way that I can set this thing up. Also how did you run the remote power wire so that the amp turns on when the factory stereo does. Sorry not very knowledgable about this stuff.

For the LOC, I believe most people have opted to take the speaker level feed from behind the head unit, as it requires a lot less effort running the wiring.

Can't comment on the remote power lead, however. Sorry.

My installer placed it behind the panel below the seatbelt on the driver's side. He was also able to tap the rear speaker leads there as well.
