canadiandriver.com will be having article on MazdaSpeed Protege on Wednesday. They usually update their site before 1:00AM EST :)

----------------------------------------------
Coming up this week*
October 7 - October 12, 2002
Monday First Drive: 2003 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Tuesday First Drive: 2003 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty Trucks
Wednesday First Drive: 2003 MazdaSpeed Proteg
Thursday Used Car Review: Ford Escort, 1997-1999
Friday Test Drive: 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer ES
-----------------------------------------------

However, there is a chance that this article will be the one published in Toronto Star few days ago, as Laurence Yap contributes to both Star and canadiandriver.com, and I'm quite sure I've seen this type of sharing previosly.

I have a feeling that it will be the same article...
i bet it will be pretty much the same pictures that we saw in the Toronto Star too.

btw, CanadianAutoreview.com has about 20 non-professional pictures without a write up...but it was soon have a write up as well..the pictures are very nice never seen before either.

Nice pics, but I have to wonder about the counterpoint that said the Focus handled better. That's the first time I've heard that in all the reviews I've read.

So it looks like a 2003.5 and color changes are essentially confirmed. I can't imagine they'd print something like that without pretty convincing sources. I guess that seals it for me. I'm going to wait until the spring and get the titanium color. In my opinion, it blows the current color options out of the water (assuming it looks anything like the Familia Protege color). Hell, I was going to have to wait until the first of the year for the black anyway. Damn, I really didn't want to wait but I imagine that I'll regret it if I don't. Enjoy your cars until I can join you, boys.

:wtf: The dude who wrote the Couterpoint argument stated that he rated the SVT Focus with better handling?
This dued must have been pretty old cuase he doesn't like short shifters either!

I'm subscribed to their newsletter. I get update once a week, early Monday morning, with comming and past reviews. It appears canadiandriver.com do not share database of contacts with anyone... No spam of any sort after I subscribed... at least not yet :)
