NEPOC MEET: Westfield, MA - Stanley Park 10/10

Stanley Park Meet Date TBA

This meet will take place on OCTOBER 10th in Stanely park, in Westfield MA, It is right across from Westfield State College. The date can change if alot of people can't make it. They have grills I am told so we should bring food and cook our own. So we need to start two lists. What people are bringing and who is coming. Lets shoot for 11am so we can grill it up for 12 or so, and have plenty of time for pictures and what not.

On the Massachusetts turnpike, you need to get off at EXIT 3 - which is the WESTFIELD/NORTHAMPTON exit. TURN RIGHT on to Routes 10 and 202 SOUTH.

Continue on Routes 10 and 202 SOUTH for 2 miles until you reach the center of Westfield. A rotary will be on your left, and the Westfield Library will be on your right. Take a RIGHT onto Court Street. Continue for about 1 mile Court Street will turn into Western Avenue. The Main Entrance to Stanley Park is on the LEFT.

South or North on Rt. 91

On Rt. 91, continue into Springfield/West Springfield. Take Rt.20 West. Follow Rt.20 West to the center of Westfield. There will be a Rotary on your left. Go 1/4 way around it. You will see the Westfield Library on your right. Take a RIGHT onto Court Street. Continue for about 1 mile Court Street will turn into Western Avenue. The Main Entrance to Stanley Park is on the LEFT.

Ohh maybe I'll bring my pocket bike too.

We will most likely need more hotdogs and hamburgers, we also will need charcoal and fluid. Plate forks knives, condiments all that sort of stuff. So we need people to start steppin up and bringing s***!!

EACH GROUP RESERVING A SITE AT STANLEY PARK SHOULD ABIDE BY THE RULES AND REGULATIONS BELOW.

• ABSOLUTELY NO alcoholic beverages allowed in park.
• Since wedding ceremonies precede one another, we do object to the throwing of rice, confetti, rose petals and birdseed. The alternative could be to use bubbles, a butterfly release or doves.
• Upon arrival, a Park Security Guard will be at the site to make sure everything is in order. The person in charge of arrangements will be responsible for the conduct of the group and compliance with Park Rules and Security Guard instructions.
• When renting the Pavilion, a Park Security Guard determines if your security deposit will be returned by reviewing the site after the affair. If the site is in order, your deposit will be returned within 14 days.
• Use of the kitchen includes the stove, refrigerator, ovens and grills. All other items such as dishes, silverware, pots and pans, table coverings and charcoal are not available through the Park. All groups must leave the facility and kitchen clean. Tables and chairs are to be left as you found them.
• Garbage and refuse are to be deposited in the containers provided at the rear of the kitchen.
• Horses & carriages are allowed under these guidelines only:
  • Some sort of collection system must be applied.
  • Horses and carriages will remain on paved surfaces only, they are not allowed on any grass areas.
