MS Miata and Winter... Friends?

I'm thinking about buying the MS Miata, but I live in Tennesee and am wondering how well it will (or won't) do it the ice, etc.

The winters here aren't horrible, but you do have to be careful with the ice

I used to have a '94 and it was just fine. Should I plan on just keeping it parked all winter?

If you're worried, just get some steelies & winter tires. As long as you don't floor it while driving on snow or ice, you should be fine...RWD is just a little more tricky than FWD to drive in winter.

I'm with the above... giventhe proper set of tires it will be no worse than your 94.. In fact maybe even a lot better since it has an LSD and ABS which were optional on the 94s.
