a- pillar removal

i was just wondering how the a-pillar in the msm is held on. i pulled enough slack to see that there are two plastic-type screws that are holding it to the frame. i cant see enough if they are regular pucs pin thingies. should i just yank it out, or is the a-pillar mounted with some type of bolts?

if it is like the older miata designs then you will need to open up the softtop latch on the side your trying to take the a-pillar out of and remove it. Then you can take the a-pillar off

its an 04 MSM (uhm)

what i meant is that i heard that the 03-04 pillar was differnt. Havnt really looked.

so what was the verdict here? You get the gauge all mounted?

I'm hoping to get mine in this weekend, so I'm curious for your hints..
