questions on audio

OK.. if this questoin was asked once.. i didnt see it. i was looking through the manual, and didnt see a damn thing on the specs on the stock stereo. I have the 6 disc changer. was wondering the size of speakers. and possibly even the wattage of the stereo. bought me a 12" mtx 5500 in the sledge hammer box. and have a 400rms mtx amp to push it. not going to amp my highs right away. and didnt want to drown out the highs with bass. i know when i turn it up.. its loud as hell.. and really clear. just wanting to know if anyone has an idea on what the output is. Also eventually gonna stard mod'n it also. havnt seen a damn thing online yet.. any ideas??? thanx

Someone measured the wattage of the stock HU at a whopping 18wpc. The speakers are 5x7/6x8 all around.

cool...man.. not as much as i hoped.. thanks tho...

i wouldn't even worry about the numbers, your ears will tell you how loud u can have the bass compared to the highs. work on getting you a quality componet set and a nice amp to go with it.
