I raced an old RX-7 tonight and sorry guys but I killed him pretty damn bad, but it was an older one and I'm pretty damn sure it was N/A I don't know what year it was but it was quite boxy looking, any specs would be nice to have, thanks!

hahah. i think 0-60 on N/A FC is like mid-high 7 sec

Stock HP for 79-85 12A cars was ~105

Stock HP for 84-85 13B cars was ~135

Stock HP for 86-88 13B cars was ~145

Stock HP for 87-88 13B turbo cars was ~185

Stock HP for 89-91 13B cars was ~165

Stock HP for 89-91 13B turbo cars was ~200

Stock 1/4 mile times for NA cars were low 16 to mid 17 range for the NA's

Turbos managed high 14 to mid 15 range.

A stock 1st gen 12a wouldn't have a chance against the MSP. It would be outhandled and outran. Throw some mods at the 1st gen and that changes. I have less than $2000 in my 80 and I guarantee that it beats my MSP in most aspects except reliability, comfort, and fuel economy.

s***, before I street ported my motor, I dynoed with air cleaner, header, and exhaust... no cats... NO TUNING...

I put down 108 whp... That's on a stock carb!!! stock they put down about 83whp.. There are Spec-7s running around putting down 112-115 at the wheel... Only difference between them and my old setup was tuning...
