2k mazda, with a 2k1 front end?

does anyone know if a 2k1 and up front clip (hood, fenders, headlights ect....) will BOLT ON to a 99-2k model protege. i know it can probably be welded on, but i am interested in just bolting these parts on.

i know the fenders/hood will "fit" but i am unsure if i need a new core support to fit the headlights and front fascia. if anyone could help me, i would appriciate it.

the headlights are different shape? or did they stop at 99 with the blocky kinda looking lights? else youll need to change the quarter panels, or mold the hell outta your existing ones.

I think it can be done if you have seen the HKS Protege it had a 99-00 front end on it and now it has a 01 front end. the people at Mazda Design are the ones that built that car. But I would not waste my money or time doing it when you could just buy a 2001.
