For those who might be interested, I just thought I'd post an update regarding the restoration of my second Miata. I finally have the engine back together with the exception of a few miscellaneous seals. I've pulled all of the body panels from the front and am currently stripping and priming them. Unfortunately, the paint on this car just flakes off, straight to the metal. So I'll have to SCRAPE the entire car. Fortunately, it comes off rather easy (30 mins for a fender). My goal is to have the car running and drivable in a month.

good job on that fender. looks good as new ;)

Thanks! I was really surprised how well it turned out. It was the first time I'd ever done any body work. There's one small ding that I missed, but I can live with it, heh.
