(picture & specs)

my question is:
this is the rating on the amp:
Power Output at 4 Ohms, at 14.4V (20Hz-20kHz, 0.05% THD): 125 Watts x 2

now, first of all would this set-up work, and what would the quality and loudess of bass be like

thanks for the help

It would work if the amp is bridgeable. You would probably be better off getting a mono amp instead of a two channel for the subs. The sound with a mono would be much cleaner and for the cost factor you could get more wattage for the dollar. The spec's didn't say what the RMS rating on the sub's are, this is something you need to know. It's nice to deal in maxium's because it looks better, but RMS is a better judgement of how the system will perform. If you match the RMS wattage of the amp closely to what the RMS wattage of the speaker is and wire the pair of subs in at 4 ohms then it should sound pretty good. With the subs you have two choice's either wire them for 1 ohm or four 4 ohms. Just depends on what kind of load the amp can take.

That setup will work fine just bridge the amp on a 4 ohm load with the coils of the subs seriesed and then each one paralleled down. It will be loud and have decent SQ depending on your listening tastes.

the RMS for each sub is 50-250
so the amp will be right in the middle of RMS for each sub..
the amp puts out 150 X2
so this set up will work, and have decent SQ?
