Don't you think it'd be awesome if Mazda made a 3 door hatch? With three doors they can get away from the typical "wagon" impression that most people seem to have with the 5 door. I think there's a significant market for it, and would definitely help Mazda's growing image. What does everyone else think?

I think it wouldn't be a bad move on Mazda's part. Like you said the P5 definitely wears the wagon stigma. However, I don't think Mazda will seeing that the 3 is taking over the Pro's spot and Mazda seems unwilling to put a two door in this sales bracket. Besides, Ford wouldn't be too happy if their bastard step child stole all of the Focus buyers away. lol.

I wouldn't definitely be interested in a 3-door hatch. I used to own a '88 323 GTX and I loved the styling on it. If we're thinking more up-to-date styling, something distinctively Mazda but resembling a VW Golf or GTI would do the trick.
