Hey people it's time for another pole...I was wondering what is everyones favorite car magazine?

super street rules screw SC mag they are more or less not even into the scene just type what they are told SS goes to events and provides useful info

SS definitely gets my vote... SCC used to be pretty informative, but I lost interest and didn't renew the last time it ran out... though I will keep checkin the super marker for their MP3 build up they promised us-

I read SCC...but after all these recommendations for SS I'll pick it up next time I'm at the 7-11. :)

I use to pick up SS back when it first came out...they seemed a bit weak...just cheesy articles...whats the style of the mag now? I think SCC caters more to the serious "techy" enthusiast and not so much on what kamikaze body kit is hot...does SS go into as much depth as SCC does in terms of cars and tech articles? Is SS overly saturated with Hondas?

I like SCC because its THICK!...tons of info..cool cars.....unique cars....a million projects.....rally coverage....lots of stuff......now Turbo mag I think is losing its edge....the mag seems to get thinner and thinner with less and less articles...

So has SS changed? Maybe I will check it outbut SCC still has Project MP3! :D

they had a project celica gt-s too. dont worry, they didnt anything
with that either. but hey, they do have a turbo matrix...

i still like SCC the best though. love the tech articles.

I enjoy SCC too for the technical info...even if it's not about my car specifically, they have a lot of useful stuff in there that can be valuable to know when it comes to my car.

I really think they should have a more devoted section for the Project cars tho. It's a monthly magazine so going a few months without hearing anything about the car can be annoying....maybe just a little 1/4 page recap on each car each month would be cool.

Oh yeah, I voted SCC. Super Street is good for a laugh, SCC is good for more info and less scantily clad girls. Scantily clad girls is a big turn off for me, so.. yeah. Super Street is a big joke at times.. but they seem to have a lot of fun.. so it's all good....... but..................... yeah.

Awww... couldn't you have catagorized them into two different types of magazines? I love Road & Track, but it isn't in the exact same market as Super Street, Sports Compact Car or Turbo.

One is just about what's new in the automobile manufacturing scene, mostly stock manufactured cars. The others are typically about how you can soup up your existing vehicles.

Say if you were to ask me to choose between Road & Track, Automobile, and Car & Driver... I'd pick R&T without a doubt and I currently subscribe to it.

I think I like Super Street over Sports Compact Car, but sometimes I get the two of them mixed up. I know one is often times more interesting to me than the other, but they're almost the same overall. I agree though, too many HONDAS being exposed on these mags... I think they ripped enough of Hondas inside-out that they need a few new and different subjects to attract other readers.

TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!!! HANDS DOWN
Very informative and technical

I choose Import tuner for all the fly asain hunnies!!!!:D

fly asain hunnies!!!!

Fly asian hunnies....sweeeeeettttt...oops..I'm back...um yeah...lol:D

Spoolin is it me or is TURBO going on a diet? Seems like the mag is loosing some mass and some content in process. I hope not I've been a sub for several years now.

Ok so I picked up a Super Street and was not very impressed....I'll stick with SCC for now altho I'll pick up an issue of Turbo at the 7-11 next time and see if it's any good.

I dunno, my vote went to motortrend. I actualy have a subscription to that mag. I sometimes buy Car&Driver or Road&Track. I like magazines that cover a broad range of subjects/cars/companys. Besides half of SCC or SS is full page ads for aftermarket parts. Ugh, if I wanted a parts cataloge, or a porno mag I'd go buy one. I just want the latest on cars! :D

I agree. While i buy all of those magazines monthly, i really love Chevy performance magazines, just because that's where my car obsession started. :)
