hey i was just wondering if anyone who has this intake cut the bottom of the plastic that is right under the bumper right by the filter. i did this so the filter would be able to suck more colder air. is this something others have done to???? or did you just put everything back to gather??? thx, mike

Yep, I think that plastic also serves a purpose of blocking misc stuff getting onto your filter, especially water.
