And his "check engine" light is on. what a suprise. 500 miles and that turbo will be off the car.

A 300hp Protege5......in Idaho. I can guarantee that he's not getting those numbers. Definetly not at the wheels..... When all is said and done, the turbo does look nice. I would like some more info on it though.

you know, he could just have the ignition in the "on" position, with the engine not running....in which case the check engine light should be on.

check the tach. definitely idling. although i dont believe the 300hp remark at 10psi...thats just bs. not even possible at the crank w/ that amount of boost.
