Difference between Canadian and American

Hey, is there differences in stereo speaker sizes ect. for canada p5's and american P5's? I believe that there are 6 1/2's in all four doors in canada, are there 5x7's in the front in the american P5's? someone wanna shed some light on this subject?

I changed my speaker last week and they are all 6 1/2. This for all 4 doors. By the way I live in Canada. For the American I don't have any idea. But like I said, in Canada 6 1/2 is the appropriate size.

That's amazing. I have no idea why Mazda would build them different. The American is definitely 5x7's front. Doesn't make any sense why they would re-tool for door speaker sizes, it seems so inconsequential. (that's my $5 word for the day)

Actually, I bought my P5 in Canada and have 61/2 speakers in the back, but 5x7's in the front??? Kinda weird that they would make differing models in regards to speaker size?? Why the hell would they not offer a bigger engine then if they are gonna go to all that trouble??

Considering this is being found in seraches I need to bring it back to correct it.

All 2001 and new proteges have 5x7" front speakers, NO EXCEPTIONS! Canada and america have the same size as do all countries.
