i'd like to know if anyone got k&n air filter. if yes how much and the part number if available, i'm talking about just the filter itself w/out any changes to the intake.

The part number listed on K&N's application guide for the 2.0 Liter Protege is:

# 33-2134

My K&N costed about $30 as well.

I'm thinking about getting the K&N as well.

Those of you with no other mods except the filter...have you noticed any difference at all (except a lighter wallet)?

I've got just the K&N, and removed the resonator before the intake box, and can't really tell any diffrence. I'm sure it's there, but oh well. The thought of knowing it's there is well worth the 30 bones. lol
