Hi,
I am trying to purchase these bulbs, either on-line or at a store, so far no luck.
Help would be great...
Thanks ALL.
Bill

Seeing this topic piqued my interest. How much better/brighter are these bulbs than what come with our car now? Gene, you already said you had them, are they worth the $40 for them? I never purchased new headlights before, so I apologize if these questions are kinda simple, but I was just curious if they give our car the xenon type look that the new benz's and beamers have...

All your input would be greatly appreciated!

Craig

craig they supposedly give the xenon look but they can blow out very quickly which cause a nasty problem i have gone through 3 sets of different hyperwhiteing bulbs..... but i will keep using them..just as a heads up when you put them in and they blow the leave a nasty yellowish film on the glass of our headlight......which suck for the lighting of our lights.......... i need to clean mine or buy a new headlight assembly

I've heard many horror stories about those "eurolite" bulbs blowing out in just a few days! Is it true? Many people have told me to avoid them like the plague (in fact, avoid all these aftermarket bulbs unless it's PIAA), but all the shops tell me tehyr'e good deals (the eurolites). So, somebody got an opinion?

yeah i say stick with actually light bulb named companys like piaa or philips, probably will be the best you can get....there you go hakushi........... ;)

So it seems that the recommended brands have been narrowed down. ~$40 for Phillips, how much for Piaa? Secondly, I've read posts stating that "some people" don't think there is any difference regarding the fog lights. Anyone have an opinion? Is it worth spending the $ on fogs? Thanks.

Matt

Craig,

I previously used Sylvania XtraVisions on my CR-V, but they did not come in H7. I did a lot of research and found great reviews for the VisionPlus bulbs.

I was not looking for bulbs that give a HID look (my BMW has Xenons) - I was looking for a bulb that had a whiter light. I am very happy with the light output of the VisionPlus bulbs - they are much brighter than stock and the light pattern seems to extend beyond the stock bulbs.

I am going to order the Philips fog light bulbs as well.

hum..................
i thought P5 has H4 for headlights.......but i could be wrong.......
are u guys talking about fog lights or headlights?

the fogs are h4...dont waste youre $$$ if your thinking about buying them i have nokya lo beams which look really nice for $40 but the fogs were $40 and there is lil or no difference save your $$$

yeah dont change out you fog lights untill you have to...........to expensive for something that doesnt even help much.....also i would suggest not using nokya i have gone through 3 sets of those and the bulbs keep exploding....not just burning out but exploding in my headlight assembly

Don't waist your money on Eurolite bulbs!
I've gone through 3 sets in as many months, two lowbeam sets and one foglight set.

P.S. the lowbeams are H7 and the fogs are H3, I don't think the US versions are different then the Canadian. I'm pretty sure this is right as the Mazda dealer sold and installed the bulbs for me.

yeah is that a brand of light bulbs or just just saying dont waste money on hyperwhite bulbs in general.........and why you have the dealer ship install them its not hard to do your self....???

Good question Justin. At the end of the day, I have to say that I am very happy with the VisionPlus bulbs. They make a BIG difference.

hey gene got a web link for visionplus bulbs???? and how much did they run you??? :p

Here are couple links with reviews (the first link is the best):

Here is the link to the European site where I purchased the bulbs:
http://www.powerbulbs.com/pvph7.htm

There are a ton of sites that review the bulb if you can read German. Do a search for Philips VisionPlus.

I paid around $39 for the bulb pack (2 bulbs) and they shipped them for free.

Hope this helps.

What? Didn't anyone see "Fast and Furious"?
Don't tell me you missed the big Eurolite decals on some of the cars.
Ya, they're a brand that may originate in Korea and is imported by Toucan Industries, they import Razo and a few others I think.
Where I live you can't go in any performance store without see them. And they're priced well below most other brands.
But not worth it!

Hey from what I've read the Philips Vision Plus bulbs are not legal in the U.S. and Canada. Am I correct on this or did I miss something??
:p

i have some of thes lights in my car and they are working great so far and they not expensive at all i paid like 20 for my high beams and then 30 for ever blinker light and reverse light....... www.hiperwhite.com they have good prices and they have done very good for me the h7's are 19.95... h3-h4's which are the fogs are 29.95 and the hight beams which are 9005's are 19.95
