rear washer/wiper complaint

I think the engineers missed something. When I turn the control stalk towards me, I get the rear washer to turn on, but the wiper does not start automatically like you'd think it should. The other way is to turn the stalk to other way (turning on the rear wiper), then twist it a little more to spray the water.

I just want to make sure your P5's work the same way.

yea mine works the same way too. i havn't been able to finger out the reason for it yet though?

ya mine works the same way. i'm not concerned though because my rear wiper is overall a piece of junk. hatch wipers never seem to work properly.

Yes, that's the way it's supposed to work. If you look in the manual it describes how there are two washer settings for the rear wiper: one where the wiper moves and one where it doesn't. Not sure of the exact rationale there. My P5's rear wiper works great.

My rear wiper works fine too, the washer thing works the same way for me, but all you have to do is turn it on. lol No biggie.
