2003 MPV Van question

I just bought a 2003 MPV with only 15KM on the odometer. I notice that there is a "burning plastic" smell after driving the van. (I can smell it outside and inside the van.) Is this normal and will it go away?

Probably just your cats. They need time to "burn in". It should go away in some time. If it doesn't by about 2 weeks, take it to the dealer.

there is a recall on certain 2003 MPV's. One of the fog lights will fall inside the bumper...and if it's left on it'll catch on fire. Check with your dealer and see if your van is included with the recall.

Thanks for the heads up. Fortunately mine doesn't have fog lights.
