CAI or Short ram?

I got my MP3 in August. I haven't done any mods to it yet because I am really new to all this. I pretty much know what I need to do with exterior mods but engine wise i am unfamiliar.a little I have been reading the post and I hear that CAI take away from low end power and thet short ram keeps the air warm. Can someone tell me the difeerence between both these intake mods and which one would be better. Also ant\y site that can show me info on engine mods will be much appreciated.

Okay, generally the CAI is better for naturally aspirated for the reason that at higher speeds when your engine is working harder, those colder intake temps are better to keep things cool, thus producing more power from the mid up through the top. You will generally give up a few lbs. of tq.

The short ram may not be as good on the top, but it provides better throttle response and generally gives you better torque down low to the midrange.
