Tip if you have a 2019 w. Frt camera

Just replaced the front camera (360 camera) on my Atlas due to multiple stone chips.

Between the $450 part, labor to remove bumper, and labor for recalibration of camera, acoustic sensors, and radar sensor, the total was almost $1300

I have now installed a piece of paint Protection vinyl film on the camera. So far so good, it sticks well to the camera and does not affect the vision. $20 well spent.

If only they made these lenses out of sapphire and windshields too while we are at it....I know, sapphire is very expensive..

I've been there, with my Tahoe though. The film on the lens will become milky even faster then glass, but it's easier to replace it. I installed front camera myself, so it's dirt cheap to replace after 4 years of service. Will be looking into doing it this summer.
