Just ripped everything out two nights ago to install my wiring harness for my trailer. The only thing i saw that looks like what you could be talking about is the wire that runs to the sub, which is mounted on top of your spare tire. Its the plastic housing in the center. on the 18, it runs from the bottom right, to the top right across the foam and into the tire. If its not this, post a pic so we can see.
