So what exactly you want? A power seat so your passenger does not slide out? *ponders on how a power seat will help from sliding a passenger out (smash)* Err... I agree with Kaps, Duct tape is your best solution.

Canadians do get power passenger seat for 2016.5 CX-5 along with the memory seat on GT. My interpretation is the OP feels the seat bottom is too flat on 13-16 manuel passenger seat and he hopes the seat bottom on newer power passenger seat can be adjusted to tilt the seat bottom. But like manual seat, the 6-way power passenger seat simply cant do that.

Power seats can tilt the seat bottom. Standard seat won't.

8-way power driver seat you can, but 6-way power passenger seat you cant.

Thiss only the power driver seat frame, you need more parts to get a whole power driver seat:

SEAT FRAME - MAZDA (KD35-88-AF0A)

And you need to go to Canada to get 6-way power passenger seat for your 2016 CX-5! (boom03)

Still want to know how a living person wearing a seatbelt is sliding out of their seat. Maybe too small? In that case the front seat seems like a dangerous place to be.
