Well? Don't leave us hanging! :)

I'm out at a fest, but in short the changes are evolutionary, very familiar which is nice...I'll be in no condition to write a review today. [emoji23][emoji481]

This annoys me. Why couldn't this be one piece?

Love the rearview side mirror pic.
Took me a second to figure out that's the front chrome piece in pic 2. That is weird. It's one piece on the OG's.

Prima! You should take a metal detector in the woods, find some cool relics

Thanks all! I have to say, the refresh is much improved

The new 17's have really grown on me. At first I only liked the redesigned front end, but I was behind a new one the other day and the back doesn't bother me as much. I wish they wouldn't have softened up the ride on the new ones, but I can understand how it widens the potential market.

Now please Mazda just introduce a V6 CX-5 or a turbo 4 with 250 or more HP.

Doubt a V6 is coming anytime soon. 2.5L Turbo from CX-9.... maybe (uhm)

Bugs me too. Why can't it be one-piece like 1st Gen..perhaps one day someone from Mazda can explain.

The 6 also has it as well:

Maybe its cheaper to have the same manufacturing process across the board (scratch)

Congrats! So now you've had a '14, '16 and a '17. Nice.

Yes...we're done for a decade....unless I total this one. [emoji23]

The wife isn't a car person so this works out for me....I am. [emoji23]

Cost cutting perhaps (uhm)

I think there are at least two reasons for this:
1. Cost
2. Reliability. Think about it. That would be one continuous piece of chromed plastic, literally stretching the entire width of the vehicle. It would be much easier to break.
