Adding Homelink to 2016.5 Touring

We bought a 2016.5 Touring, which does not have Homelink. Has anyone added this feature to their car? Mazdagear.com has a mirror for 2014-2016 CX5, but I'm not sure if it works for a 2016.5 model. Any experience out there?

I have installed an aftermarket version, made by Gentex.
Most likely, the factory it is easier to install.
I had this mirror from another car.

A recycling center with good reviews is selling a used mirror w/homelink from a CX-5 for $90 shipped. 101 day warranty. I'd get this if I didn't already have homelink.
