As I said all alone the 2nd-gen CX-5 would be a 2017 MY and should be available at US Mazda dealership in late spring or early summer of 2017. It basically follows the release schedule of the 2nd-gen CX-9 just a year later. That's why Mazda came out the 2016.5 MY and is trying to hold 2017 MY designation for new 2nd-gen CX-5.
