Hello, I traded in my Audi for a 2015 CX-5 GT and am planning to get a pet barrier for the cargo area so my dog Max can have his own space. No more drooling all over the dash board! :) I've done the research, including this site and this one seems to be the best design, made in the UK:

https://www.travall.com/en-us/pet-barrier

They make their pet barriers specifically for each vehicle, so the fit will be excellent but they're pricey ($180 + $40 shipping). Shipping is fast (3-4 days to Washington).

On one of the Audi forums, I noticed an Audi-specific discount code from 2014 or 2015. Maybe we can negotiate a deal on these if a group of us purchase? It looks like a GREAT product!

Would any of you be interested? Do any of the moderators here know how to go about this?

Thank you!

The travall link won't open for me but have you considered the Weathertech barrier? It is a universal fit vs. a specific fit but retails for $69.99, so half of the other even after shipping.

As for a Group Buy (GB), you would need to pm one of the moderators to get permission to run one.

Thanks for the reply! I did research the WeatherTech barrier, and the reports (criticism) state the tubes are not fixed laterally. So bigger dogs can slide the tubes sideways, and nose their way into the back seat. The other significant advantage IMO of the Travall design is that it will not damage your headliner. I really don't want dents in the top interior of my car from the suction cup attachment. There's another Universal Fit design by Guardian that needs cable ties attached to the headrest supports to keep from falling down on the dogs, and has a tendency to rattle...and it also prevents use of the retractable cargo cover.

Here's a link that hopefully will work. It's the vehicle-specific for CX-5 Travall barrier:

There is also one available for the Mazda3 5-door model. I've contacted Antoine about the proper steps to a group buy once we gauge interest.

This looks really good but the price (and shipping rate) is a huge deterrent...any idea if this can be removed quickly or is it more of a permanent installation?

i HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THIS FOR A LONG TIME - i WOULD BE VERY INTERESTED. I DO A LOT OF CAMPING. tHIS THING LOOKS SUPER SOLID SO NOT ONLY GOOD TO KEEP THE DOG I9N THE BACK BUT ALSO A SAFE WAY TO LOAD UP CARGO PAST THE COVER. Available on the Bay for $170 plus $25 shipping from the UK. Ouch.
