As far as I know, Mazda has a TSB for old infotainment system. You can get a hardware module replaced and then they will update to a new firmware. I done that now the USB can resume from where I left, but it still slow as f***, (took ten seconds to play)very out dated infotainment system. Somehow I think CX-5 stock audio system is awesome(very good audio effect), even better than the BMW, X5 sound system. If you want quick load and play music, go with cd. It is faster than USB and Bluetooth.
