I've watched videos on youtube and 3M site that show how to apply it but they aren't very detailed or explanatory. Is the use of heated air via heat gun or hairdryer necessary? It seems to me they use the heat only when stretch is needed. I tried and failed yesterday to cover one of my chrome vents. I pressed the film onto the chrome but it didn't seem to stick well. Trimming the film to fit perfectly is going to be some real precision work. Do you have tips on how to trim the vinyl film perfectly? Thanks
