Do other CX-5 Owners have these?

I recently purchased a HID kit from the retrofit source. Amazing kit. Now every publication I have read, including my own owners manual states the headlights are a H11B type. However, after removing the bulb, I find that they are in fact a 9005 series bulb. Can anyone explain why this is? It's a CX-5 sport, with projector halogens. Factory housings, albeit I did buy used about 5 months ago.

Are you sure its the low beam? I think the low beam is H11 but the high beam is 9005.

How about retrofitting the H9 halogen bulb for more light, rather than a hid kit in a vehicle designed for halogen bulbs. These kits are full of glare to oncoming drivers.
