I think I read CX-5 by default doesn't come with the hooks in the cargo area? (The U shaped hooks on 4 sides).
I just got a cargo net and checked inside, all 4 hooks are there that too very nicely done where you need to pull them first and attach the cargo net. I have a 2016.
