Maintenance Monitor Question

I have had my CX 5 for a couple of weeks and have put ~1000 miles on it. I switched the Maintenance Monitor to Oil Change with a flexible setting but it does not appear to be monitoring the oil usages since it is still at 100% (I switched just after I purchased the Car). All of my other cars that have the feature give me a % remaining of the oil, and I would think after 1000 miles that I would still not have 100%. I read the manual, but it was not help with this problem.

It's possible you may have reset the monitor accidentally. Normally you only want to reset it after an oil change. But there is a TSB for this issue if your VIN falls between certain range. The fix is a software update:
